Sheryl Menkes is a tireless advocate for victims of nursing home abuse and neglect. She believes that all residents of nursing homes have the right to live with dignity free from pain caused either intentionally or as a result of neglect. Her cases in this area include: bedsores, dehydration, malnutrition, falls, wandering, physical abuse, restraints, and chemical and drug abuse.
In addition, Ms. Menkes has many years of experience in personal injury and trial practice. Her cases include auto accidents, falls, construction site accidents and medical malpractice. Her victories in court have been acknowledged in New York newspapers citing a multi-million dollar verdicts.
Ms. Menkes is a member of the Board of Directors of the New York State Trial Lawyers Institute, The Association for Justice, The National Nursing Home Litigation Group, and The New York Nursing Home Litigation Group. She has been acknowledged in Who's Who in American Women.
